1885 1c Indian Head Cent CACG PR 66 BN *Emerald Green & Purple Monster*
A spectacular proof! It has a green, central figure contrasted with black mirrored fields that flip to velvet green once tilted under a light. I call it the Black Opal due to its resemblance to the stone. The obverse in my opinion is the quality of a 67 being virtually mark free and having automatic luster. The reverse has a sea green crescent in the upper right corner, while the rest of the surfaces pop lavender green. A little haze in under the lettering may prevent the coin from higher grades, but the overall quality and toning makes it an incredible piece! CAC approved.
